Helen Paul Defends Regina Daniels’ ‘Marriage’ To 59-Year Old Ned Nwoko

Daniels has been a subject of controversy following the revelation that she is in a romantic relationship with the 59-year old Nwoko.

Her lavish display of wealth and opulence has also attracted comments, commendation as well as backlashes from her followers, industry watchers and the general public.

However, taking to Instagram on Sunday, Helen Paul, who recently bagged her doctorate degree from the University of Lagos, spoke in defence of the under-fire actress accusing women of engaging in hypocritical activities and pushing down other women instead of helping them.

She wrote:

Hypocracy of the highest order, ladies are used to killing and condemning each other.
Do you know what she has gone through?
Do you know what pushed her and her family to go into such a marriage? 
There are people who get married at an older age and their husbands are using them as punching bag.
Why are we quick to judge women? The woman did this, the woman did that, What about the men? 
Please let us leave issues that are sorted and focus on matters that truly need attention.
