I’m inspired by nature, like sometimes I just draw the things I see. And music, it speaks to me. I just listen to a song and it makes me want to put my pencil on paper.
I never had to learn to draw. It’s something I’ve been doing ever since I learnt how to hold a pencil, although it started with me drawing circles on the back of my school notes and making crooked lines on the wall in the house.
Basically, seeing everything as a combination of shapes helps me draw effortlessly. When people see a complex picture, I just see many shapes I have to put together to make a beautiful drawing.
