[MUSIC] EX’O – TIME’S UP (AUDIO AND VIDEO)

Magege Theophilus, popularly called ExO is a Nigerian born and bred in Lagos.  He is a music producer, song writer, Singer, rapper and Engineer who runs an Independent production company, CASH-IN Entertainment. The record “Time’s up” is the collaborative effort of Ex’O and Dj Diaze, they both go by the HIPHOP Group name, BROOKLANE. Although the audio of “Time’s Up” was released in fall of 2018, it garnered traction on many Hihop platforms in France and the United states, and because of the great reviews, Ex’O and DJ Diaze teamed up to shoot the video as requested by fans. The video was shot in France and Nigeria respectively and directed by DELSEAN a Nigerian movie and Music video director based in Canada.

Times up is a traditional hiphop record with boombap influence. The track enumerates the challenges of the hiphop music genre and the social ills affecting the culture. The record was made to bring back the cool of the good old fashioned hiphop music with thought provoking lyrics driven by heavy bass and rhythmic drumlines. The record is written and performed by Ex’O who is responsible for many hit songs on the Nigerian musical space. The record is also produced by the amazing and talented Dj Diaze, a classic music producer and DJ based in FRANCE. “Time’s Up” the first single off Ex’Os EP project is scheduled for release in the month of JUNE 2019. The “EP” promises to be the beginning of great things to come for Ex’O and Dj Diaze.
