American singer and actress, Britney Spears, has reacted to the news making rounds that she is being held without her consent at a facility where she went to seek treatment for mental health.
The songwriter stated that her she is fine but at this time of treatment, privacy will help her go a long way at this hard time.
Spears in her recent post on Instagram wrote; “I wanted to say hi, because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!!”.
“There are rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said.”
The drama started when there were report that Spears was being held against her will and sparked the hashtag #FreeBritney, but the singer came out to assure her fans that she is doing what is best for her.
“Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way,” she wrote.
