“Celine?… Josh?… Do you read me?” Jim inquired. “Loud and clear Captain” Josh radioed the Captain General. “What your status?” Jim asked. “It’s a slaughter house in here. Everyone was massacred!” Celine said. “What about the Celestial Orb?” ‘It’s gone Captain,’ Josh replied. “Hmm stand by. Search for survivals. We’re on our way!” Jim gave the final order before ending transmission. “Celestial orb? What da heck is that?” Celine asked as they searched the temple for survivals. “Well it’s a huge ball of energy I think. I’ve never really seen it with my own eyes.” Josh answered. “And you think this particular cult wants it?” Celine questioned further. “I’m positive they do. It’s quite powerful. It is what powers this entire planet. Speaking of which….” Josh paused as he had just realized something important. “Jay? What is it?” Celine asked. “Hmmm whoever took the orb hasn’t left the planet yet,” Josh said eventually. “And how do you Know this?” Celine asked in wonderment. ” ‘Cause this planet hasn’t started to blow up yet” Josh said smiling. “Eh?? Wait! is that something to be joking about?” Celine said. “Well I’m just saying the fact. Don’t get all beasty on me” Josh teased. “Arrgh Josh I feel like killing you right now!!” Celine said getting pissed off. “I kinda feel responsible for all these” Josh suddenly spoke with a tone of seriousness. “Jeez! don’t be so hard on yourself. How is this even your fault?” Celine said rolling her eyes. “Uhm it just reminded me of Bryan. I can’t let this planet be blown to pieces!” Josh said. There was determination written all over his face. Celine could feel it. She knew that he probably made a secret resolve to protect everyone even before coming on board. “Josh I know how you feel. I also have someone I want to protect,” Celine said as she moved closer to Josh. Taking hold of Josh’s right hand, she tapped a button on her wrist watch and a sword appeared. “Whoa! so you brought it with you!” Josh said in shock. “I’m the one who’s surprised that you haven’t searched or asked for it yet. I thought you forgot all about it,” Celine said. “Nah I can never forget this sword. Thanks Celine,” Josh said with a smile. “You don’t have to thank me Jay. Just use it to protect everyone.” Celine pulled closer, her eyes piercing deep into Josh’s brown eyes. Josh pulled in instinctively, his eyes never leaving Celine’s. “I also have someone I must protect too” Celine spoke softly as her lips got to Josh’s by a hair’s-breadth. But just before their tender lips sealed the little gap existing between them Josh said, “wait, we’re being watched!”
“There’s someone there, I can sense his aura essence,” Josh said focusing his gaze towards an uphill land situated miles away. “Who do you think it is?” Celine asked. “I don’t know but my guess is he’s the one responsible for this massacre. Let’s go!” Josh said to Celine. Swiftly, Josh and Celine ran towards the uphill. There was definitely someone there and he had an enormous aura essence. While Celine wondered about who this person might be and just what is his goal with this orb, Josh only thought about exacting vengeance on whoever he is.
“Oh? so he has sensed my presence.. Not bad. Let me see if the legends are true.” The mysterious man said to himself with a smile. As Josh and Celine got closer Josh realized something, “he’s coming towards us and…” Josh tried to warn Celine but suddenly came a huge explosion! BOOM!!!! “Celine!! Are you okay?!” In the midst of the smoke Josh called out. “Yeah I’m fine. I got out of the blast range in time” Celine replied coughing. “Hmm you two are good. You actually survived my welcoming shot” a voice came from amidst the smoke created by the blast. Girding his sword Josh demanded, “who are you?!!” This was no ordinary man. Whoever he is, he is damn fast! Josh had a feeling he was going to be major problem. The smoke cleared out to reveal a black bearded man with shades of grey hair decorating his head, “Hmm well I am not surprised you evaded my *morte fist* so easily. I guess it was worth the wait after all.” He spoke further. “I said who are you?” Josh demanded. “Hmm kids of this days now lack respect, I’m not surprised” the man replied nodding his head. “Well I will indulge you and tell you just who I am” the man said. “I am Lord Von Uhr Vogen.” “I have just one more question Lord Vogen,” Josh said girding his sword firmly. “Did you kill those people at the temple?” ‘As a matter of fact I did, but they deserved it really. They were such weaklings. I was expecting more from them. They were so easy to kill, they were like cockroaches. I have no delight in weaklings like the people of….’ “Shut up!! Just shut it!… You’ve said enough” Josh said cutting him off. Josh began to power up, the warm golden glow of his aura essence began to manifest itself all over his body. “Lord Von or whatever you call yourself. You will meet your end in this very planet!” Josh said gritting his teeth. “Oh? You want to avenge those weak good-for-nothing ninnies?” The Man asked bemused. “Well show me what you got. I should Warn you, taking me down won’t be easy” the man said as he powered up, releasing his powerful aura essence. The air around him shifted back suddenly and with great force. “Celine stay sharp! This guy is extremely fast,” Josh urged his partner. “Oh? So it’s true what they say you are very perceptive. But this fight is between you and me. So uninvited guests should…” Just before finishing his statement the man suddenly appeared before Celine. “…die!” But to Lord Von’s shock, Josh caught his hand before he could land a hit on Celine. “You will not lay a finger on her,” Josh spoke calmly. Trying to take the advantage, Celine quickly drew out her a dagger and tried stabbing Lord Von, but she missed as he moved swiftly to avoid it. Swiftly escaping and Withdrawing from Josh’s grip Lord Von spoke, “hmm I see you have *good speed* but know this I am *wickedly fast.*” As soon as he said that he began to power up. His aura essence skyrocketed! Sensing this Josh warned Celine, “get out of here now! Celine move!!!!” Celine quickly heeded Josh warning and pulled back. “Increasing your aura essence won’t change anything. I will end you!” Josh said. “We will see about that brat!” The man replied before swiftly disappearing from view. His speed was so unreal, Celine’s eyes couldn’t follow his movements. “Josh look out!” Celine shouted when she suddenly noticed the man had appeared behind Josh. “Too late!” Lord Von said as he made an attempt to strike Josh. “Fist de Morte!!!” The man roared as he threw a powerful aura essence powered punch at Josh at close range which resulted in a huge explosion. KABOOM!!!
Fearing that Josh got hit by the blast or worse, Celine screamed at the top of her voice, “JOSH!!!!!!” But the blast range kept expanding, within seconds it had gotten to her. Just when she thought it was over, Josh suddenly appeared behind her and carried her away before the blast got her. “Jeez! Don’t ever scare me like that,” Celine said with a smile. “Oh yeah? Well same goes for you” Josh replied. The blast created by Lord Von’s punch left a crater on the ground. It was indeed a powerful technique. “Oh? So you evaded that again? You are really The Guardian” Lord Von commended. “I can see now why you are….” Before Lord Von finished speaking Josh appeared before him and slashed him with his sword. “You talk too much,” Josh said. “Uuuh damn you brat!” Lord Von shouted as he pulled away to avoid further injury. “When did you get there?” Celine said bemused by the enormous speed Josh had just showcased. “Heheh sorry Cee it’s called ‘the element of surprise’ ” Josh said with a smile. “Brat! Are you feeling happy because you managed to wound me? This is nothing. This will not slow me down!” Lord Von said angrily. “Well I won’t be happy till I take you down” Josh responded. “I will show you my power. You ignorant fool!” Barked Lord Von. Lord Von proceeded to increase his aura essence even further. The red glow of his aura essence grew brighter. But just as he was about to charge at Josh a voice called out, “Lord Von Uhr Vogen!” Another Man had suddenly appeared. Lord Vogen who seemed ready to attack immediately halted and lowered his aura essence. “Lord Von uhr Vogen, why do you engage in such frivolity?” The Man said walking towards Lord Von. “Just who is this other guy? How did he even get there without me noticing it?” Josh thought to himself. Celine quickly moved to where Josh was to provide him assistance. “Josh what’s the plan?” Celine whispered. “Ion know Cee, but this other guy might be a problem.” Josh replied. “I asked you a question Von uhr Vogen” the man said in a very calm tone. “Uhm erm I-I was…” Lord Von Stammered. “Silence! *The Sovereign one* sent you on a mission to retrieve the Orb and you loiter around indulging yourself in such balderdash?” The Man scolded Lord Von further. “I’m sorry Prince EL’Charro, but what I’m doing, I do also for the Sovereign One I swear. This person is the one known as the Guardian ” Lord Von replied pointing to Josh.
Celine took her time to notice the two mysterious men. The Man that had just interrupted their bout was dressed in white and had long white hairs descending below his shoulders . He seemed a lot younger than the man Josh was fighting earlier. But there was something about him that sent shivers down her spines. The aura of his presence was graced by extreme charm. The way he spoke, his demeanor, everything screamed royalty. His appearance could be described as *beautiful.* But no way in hell was Celine ever going to admit all this in the open. “Celine stay sharp!” Josh said bringing Celine back to her senses. The Man stared at Josh and spoke, “Are you the Guardian?” “What is it to you who I am?” Josh replied. “Hmm no matter, I do not have time for trash like you. Lord Vogen. Give me the Orb” the man in white said in a calm tone. As Lord Vogen brought out the Orb, Josh dashed at an incredibly inhuman speed towards them in attempt to steal the orb only to receive an elbow in his chin which sent him flying back in the direction from which he came. “Gwlllk!!!” Josh groaned as he back-flipped in the air and managed to land gracefully on the floor. “Josh are you alright?” Celine rushed to him. “Yeah I’m fine, that guy in white has great reflexes” Josh said caressing his jaw. “Hmm do not attempt to infuriate me Guardian” the man in white said in a very calm voice. “El’Charro!! Give me that Orb!!” Josh demanded. “Hmm you are very astute to have been able to deduce my name so quickly after hearing it just once, but beware it is *Prince El’charro* to you filth. As for this Celestial Orb, we members of *Herren Des Kosmos* have been given the supreme order to retrieve it, ” the Man in white spoke calmly. “Do you think I care if you’re a prince or a slave? I’m gon take that Orb from you whether you like it or not. I don’t care what your cult’s orders are,” Josh said as he started to power up. Despite the enormous golden aura essence Josh was radiating Prince El’Charro remained unfazed, his face had no emotion at all if anything he seemed quite bored. His nonchalant facial expression only made Josh all the more furious. “Golden spiral Blast!!!” Josh exclaimed as he charged and released a huge amount aura essence at the man in white. Lord Vogen quickly got out of the way but Prince El’charro didn’t move. Instead he calmly slipped his hand into his pocket and waited for the blast. To Josh’s shock the blast didn’t even hurt him. There was not even a scratch on his royal-like garb. “How on earth did that guy block your attack?” Celine asked in astonishment. “Ion know Cee, he probably used his mind to create a force field or something, Josh replied. “Hmm so this is the famous golden spiral ball blast? Quite powerful but still a disappointment” El’charro said calmly. “Lord Vogen let us return to *Volderheim.* I will tell the Sovereign One that the Guardian he’s so interested in is nothing but a big disappointment. The likes of him will only begrime the reputation of Herren Des Kosmos,” Prince El’charro said further before turning his back and calmly walked away. But Josh wasn’t going to let him get away with the Celestial Orb. He quickly charged towards the man in white but Lord Vogen blocked him off. “Where do you think you’re going brat!?” Lord Vogen said. “Get outta my way!” Josh ordered. “You’ll die a senseless death if you fight Prince El’charro. You fool!” Lord Vogen barked. “I don’t care. But he won’t get away with that Orb. Celine! Handle this guy, El’charro’s mine!!” Josh said as he swiftly maneuvered his way past Lord Vogen. Lord Vogen made efforts to stop Josh once again but this time Celine blocked him Off. “Sorry Old man but you’re gon have to get through me first.” Celine said. Free from Lord Vogen’s interference Josh charged at Prince El’charro with full force. Coming at him from behind Josh hurled himself into the air and lifted up his sword. But just as he was about to strike El’charro, he met a sudden explosion!! BOOM!!!! Which sent him crashing into a brick wall nearby leaving him all covered in blood. “I would think you of all people should’ve noticed the gap between our power levels by now. Charging up to fight me head on depicts vacuity,” Prince El’charro spoke calmly with his hands still pocketed and never turning back to view his opponent.
“Use my power” “use me” “use my power” “unlock your true power” “show him what you can really do” a voice sounded in Josh’s mind. Josh could recognize the voice clearly. It was the power of the dark matter reaching out to him once again. “Leave me alone! I won’t use you!” Josh replied the voice firmly.
“El’charro!! Don’t run away! I will kick your butt!” Josh managed to speak. Prince El’charro suddenly stopped and looked back before saying; “hmm there you are groveling on your feet barely able to move yet, you make such a statement. Pitiful! Filths like you do not deserve to exist in this world”
Turning towards Josh’s direction Prince El’charro powered up his aura essence and unsheathed his sword. It was a really powerful aura that he had and its manifestation was a white glow! It was unlike anything Josh had ever seen. “Do not mistake my magnanimity for pusillanimity,” Prince El’charro said as he pointed his sword at Josh. A huge ball of aura energy began to charge up and concentrate itself at the tip of his sword. “Now die!… White thunderbolt!” Prince El’charro said before firing the ball of white energy at Josh.
Josh could see the blast coming but he couldn’t move. He knew dodging it would be impossible. All he could say was….
