I do not or cannot certify if this beat was originally made for this song but even if it wasn’t, I think it was a perfect company for the lyrics. So i have no grudge with the choice of beat and i have to give props to the maker. who ever it is.
LYRICS
Nothing out of the ordinary. As a rapper, most of us would expect to see or hear some jaw dropping metaphors or wordplay. But talking about the message? It was well passed accross using the good ability of story telling and illustration. A little bit of H factor here and there is understandable but can be perfected.
PRODUCTION
I cannot really review this any deeper as I do not know the source of the beat, the production wouldn’t be a neck breaking one for the sound engineer. All he really needs to get good will be the clarity and that was at least up to par.
CHORUS
No chorus, no hook. How did this make the song turn out? I guess the idea is a practical rap song. Versatile in its nature. The story telling vibe pays off because its that type of song that will keep you listening with a lot of self appraisal which always works out some how for a rapper.
