Eniola Akinbo was born the 9th of December, 1985 on the 9th of December, 1985 in Lagos State in Nigeria. She is the eldest child in a family with 10 siblings. When she was eight she was an active part of the church choir where she sang along with her siblings. She was compelled to pursue an academic career in music after going to the Funmi Adams performance.

Her career in music began with the AMEN starlet competition, coming in as the first runner-up, and then interacting with the the’Plantashun boys who invited her to sing a duet (she was able to record with Faze when the group broke up shortly afterward). She was a part of Trybe Records briefly, but went on to release her debut singles “Me and U (in the club)”‘No More’, and ‘Dem Say” under the Freestyle label Make-Sum Noise Entertainment. She was signed to Westside Music and went on to release her debut album featuring hits such as “Bring It On” and “Call My Name which earned two nominations for the Hip Hop World Awards.

Nigerian music entrepreneur, Bankole Wellington, also known in the media as Banky W, has responded to claims that he was in a relationship with his spouse Adesuwa Etomi.
Banky W’s stance is in response to a controversial blogger Gistlover In a story on Saturday, revealed that the music boss had been cheating on Adesuwa by collaborating with his previous label partner, Niyola.
The report further stated the fact that Banky W and Niyola who is believed to be pregnant with him, have been dating for a few years while she flits across the United States and Nigeria.
The blog claimed the woman was already aborting two births for the singer, and had promised not to have a third.
Bank W, who addressed an audience of The Waterbrooks Church in Lagos on Sunday, stated that the rumors are fabricated by demons and satanic forces determined to block the congregation from attending his sermon on Sunday.
He said: “The devil really didn’t want you to hear this message. In fact, he didn’t want us to enter into this series at all.
‘‘There was an attack at the beginning, but here we are. But the devil is a liar. And God is in control.”
The singer also praised his wife for supporting him all these years.
“If I don’t thank God for anything in my life, I thank God for this woman, “he added, pointing at Adesua.
